Building leadership skills in order to improve Instructional practice #PQP10P

The 10 day challenge has opened the doors to new and innovative ways to engage my students. The importance of technology is a growing necessity for our students. It gives them the opportunity to create, share, teach, reflect and learn. This journey has challenged me to build my digital leadership skills in order to empower my students to do the same. My journey began with reluctance and ended with extended knowledge of Google Apps, Storify, Twitter and Blogger. Moving forward for me will mean that my students will be introduced to many of these creative expressions of learning and WILL be encouraged, to not only continue to be responsible digital citizen,s but also to break from the norm and creative an innovative display of knowledge that is representative of who they are.
